Dr. Upton received his fellowship in Neuroradiology from Vanderbilt University Center and Diagnostic Radiology training at UT Medical Center. He completed a surgical internship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Upton earned his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine – and bachelor of science in Chemical Engineering with Pre-Medicine Specialization from Auburn University.
He is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Radiology, American Medical Association, Knoxville Academy of Medicine, Tennessee Medical Association, and American Society of Neuroradiology.
Dr. Upton is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and joined the Vista Radiology team in 2024.
