Physician Practice Operations Manager Position Available
Vista Radiology, a 40+ radiology provider located in Knoxville, Tennessee, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the clinical and logistical performance of the organization. Vista serves 9 hospitals and multiple diagnostic centers and physician office clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the liaison to hospital radiology managers and key client personnel to:
- Maintain and strengthen positive working relationships with customers
- Ensure customer expectations are met
- Foster communication between radiologists and referring providers
- Provide general support to physicians
- Review and maintain the practice’s provider schedule to ensure the optimal deployment of resources
- Evaluate new business opportunities
- Initiate internal communications
- Supervise compliance with physician licensing requirements and staff training
- Manage and evaluate office staff
- Assist with physician recruiting and retention
- Facilitate practice marketing and physician outreach efforts
- Work cooperatively with Chief Financial Officer and Practice Administrator
- Complete projects or other special assignments as may be needed by practice
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- 5 years of Practice Management Experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership and problem solving skills
- Ability to function as a member of a team
