IT Systems Administrator

Integrated Practice Services, LLC is seeking an IT Systems Administrator. This opportunity provides a wide variety of responsibility and is an important part of our IT team. Our team provides IT services for East Tennessee’s largest radiology practice and another related entity.

This position will be responsible for maintaining company infrastructures and supporting end-users, while adhering to company policies and security best practices. While administering the environment, this position, will work in a variety of IT areas and support many company departments.

Our office is located in Knoxville, Tennessee, but does require occasional local travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, maintain and troubleshoot IT issues related to:
    o Desktops (Windows 10)
    o Servers (physical virtual and cloud; Windows & Linux operating systems)
    o Software (PACS, accounting, billing, custom applications)
    o Hardware (printers, phones, scanners)
  • Manage Microsoft Azure Cloud applications
  • Manage Active Directory (including users, computers, group policies, and DNS)
  • Manage Exchange / Office 365 accounts
  • Manage security monitoring and remediation (Endpoint Protection, SIEM, and User Access Control)
  • Support all end users including radiologists (across multiple PACS systems) and office staff
  • Image, test and deploy desktops
  • Participate in rotating after-hours on-call support
  • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned or required

Technical Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT systems – desktops and servers (physical and virtual)
  • 2+ years administering Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS and Windows Server systems
  • 1+ years supporting and maintaining hybrid cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)
  • 1+ years maintaining enterprise security (Endpoint Security/Anti-virus, SIEM, etc.)
  • 1+ years supporting Exchange / O365 (preferred)
  • General understanding of Radiology/Healthcare IT
  • Ability to think strategically about healthcare workflows, and technical challenges
  • Fundamental knowledge and understanding of basic networking technology
  • Knowledge or experience with VMWare virtualization technology

Job-Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday with rotating on-call schedule covering some nights & weekends.

Starting Pay: $70,000 to $85,000 (depending on experience)
